THE SO-CALLED "HOOTING OVER HUNGER" OR "HOOTING AT HUNGER" :  THE "HOMO-WOO" ;- The authentic Ancestral words/name; "Homo-woo" ( Sleeping over Hunger ) meaning "Fasting" and NOT "HOMO YI WAMO" as "HOOTING AT HUNGER". #(1) The "HOMO-WOO" Section is within one of the ceremonial component of the "Kpa-Doctrine" known as Nmaa-dumo. The Fasting ceremonial component section begins as soon after the Nmaa-dumo ( Planting of Harvesting Seeds ) doctrine section. The doctrine calls for 2-weeks fasting, known as "Homo-woo", connotation of "Homowoo" and "Homowo", which is "FASTING".  The two weeks fasting for the Nmaa-dumo section is different from the following other fasting #(2) ; The other fasting section flows from the Tuesday Kpokpoi cooking, the "Kpa-Tsoo" ( Sacred preparation of Divinity Drums ) and before the "Kpa-Solemo" ( Sacred Testimonial Prayers ). In this section the La-Kpa Wulomo will go under "Homo-woo" ( Sleeping over Hunger ) "Fasting" and NOT "Hooting at Hunger" or "Hooting over Hunger" as ( HOMO YI WAMO ). 

The purpose of the Fasting is for the "Oracle" (The La- Kpa Wulomo) and the Divinities to be in a state of Sanctity, to archive successfully in all their purposes unconditionally, to the once in a year Sacred Atonement New Year Festival Doctrine, which consist of many sacred ceremonial components. Since the Ancestors and Divinities only participate in their Kpokpoi-feast once in a year, the Kpa-Doctrine demand sacred-respect from the Sacred host of the Homowo Festival, who is the La-Kpa Wulomo to honor the occasion by Homo-woo (Fasting) before " Having Kpokpoi-Feast with the Ancestors and the Divinities". So this ceremony in actuality is ;- ( A SACRED ATONEMENT-YEARLY HARVESTING & NEW-YEAR FESTIVAL ) .

Thousands of years in transition settlements coupled with many intermittent wars from East African Nubian Plains, through Sudan, Nigeria and part group through the northern African route, while most came by canoe from East Africa to their present West African location. During their transition by land, sea and rivers, they carried with them most of their Divinities, while other Divinities arrived later after their settlements, the later arrived Divinities were also an Ancient Divinities. It is known by the elders that there are ninety-nine (99) Sacred Divinities with the Ga-Adangbes and the number one-hundredth (100th) Sacred Divinity is "Nyomo" ( the supreme divine creator of the universe) as their leader of the Monotheism.

After all the divinities were accounted for, the Ga-Adangbes combined the transition experiences of lost love once, death and humiliation of wars and the hunger that they went through before their final and present settlement at the now known Ga-Adangbe Region of the presently so-called Accra or Greater Accra Region . With their Master mind in Ancient Sacred Doctrine that they inherited from their Ancestors, they renewed and re-established the legacy of the celebration festival of the yearly "Nai-ye" rivers cycle chronology of millet planting and harvesting festival to their transition of relocations and hunger experiences in honor of their Ancestral  Ancient Festival, of the " Yearly harvesting cycle chronology of the Nile (Nai-ye) rivers" which is cerebrated as a Festival on the month "Gbo" now known as the so-called "Hooting at Hunger". "Gbo" the Sacred Ancient new-year month was known by the Ga-Adangbes prior to their now Ga-Adangbe Region. "Gbo" to the Ga-Adangbes is the end and the beginning of their new-year, which is the ( Gregorian calendar ; August-September ) and the "Zodiac calendar; Virgo".

LIBATION; The Authentic languages of the "Ga", "Damgbe", "Ewe", "Fante", "Gondza", "Tswi", "Yoruba", "Hausa", "Bantu" etc,  cannot be translated literally, not only they consist of Divinity names but they are also a swearing of an oath languages when spoken.  In most cases a foreign language word or words may not translate correctly to the authentic meaning of the Nubian tongue ( The African authentic language-tongue ) The English word "libation" was imposed in translation upon the Ga-Adangbe word "Nkpai".  The word "N-kpa-i" authentic pronunciation is without the silent letter "N"; phonetically as "ing", while the letter "i" is playing as an adjective. Therefore the actual authentic word is "Kpa" which means "Sacred Testimony". The Sacred word "Kpa" reputation is unconditionally unavoidable that, it was borrowed to be used for the Ga-Adangbe Christian-Bible as "Kpa mo Momo" ( Old Testament ) and "Kpa mo Hee" (New Testament), by the "Kpa-Asafo" generation Ga-Adangbes converted into Christianity. This sacred word "Nkpai" (N-Kpa-i) is generally used among the Ga-Adangbe sub-Nations thousands of years B.C. and the authentic meaning of "NKpai" is; "Sacred Testimonial Petition" which is perform by means of Monotheism.

A demoralized person or persons ignorant to the true Ga-Adangbe Spiritual-Culture sometimes prejudged, shunned and shunt the Divinity names ; "Worn", "Wulomo", "La-Kpa", "Nai-ye Wulomo" and "Nkpai". etc.,  without knowing their true justifications. The pouring of water, alcohol and sometimes sprinkling of food on the earth and in the waters (Rivers and Ocean) is another practical symbolism act of sacred believe, respect and sharing with mother nature the "Earth". Cleansing of Ancient Ancestral Divinities; To enable acquire full sacred sanction throughout the Homowo Festival Doctrine process. A cleansed and clean wooden bowl is filled with clean water and special variety of herbs is blessed to a state of holy water. This water will be used for the cleansing of the Ancient Ancestral Divinities. After cleansing of the Ancestral Divinities, the now become holy water will be used by the selected Divinities and the royalties who played part of the "Bloi ahe dzuu" to cleanse themselves to remove bad omen away and to receive good omen. Saturday, the seventh day after the last cleansing ceremony, the below already Cleansed Divinity Shrines will be served sacred food known as "Fotoli" as the "won-te dzuramo". A goat will be sacrificed and the meat will be used to cook food known as "Fotoli" ( a fermented corn mill cooked with yellowish-reddish palm-oil and other spices mixed, which bring out an aromatic sweet smell and very tasteful ), coupled with "Musher" ( a dried balls of white corn mill ). The Divinity shrines will be served and all the cleansing performers and others will make sure they have their share of the "Fotoli". After the meal, they will perform "nKpai-solemo" ( libation ) as a short thanksgiving of atonement blessings of goodness for everything. The same Divinities who performed the cleansing ceremony will be responsible for the  Divinity Shrines who will receive the "Won-Te Dzuramo" ceremony:

This section is a combination of sacred communication of sin detection, judgment and corrections to justify successfully to the crop planting ceremony. This is one of the spiritual signals that must be accurate to enable the festival continuation. Millet seed will be planted after a strong sacred special ceremony and Nkpai "libation" is performed, to enable professionals, skill workers, traders, Farmers, Fishermen, Amlakui, Divinities, Queens and Kings etc. and any other descent acceptable work that one does to earn living and for those who don't have work to have work. With all strictly male attendees only, the process is handle at the location of the "Divinity Sakumo", the "La-Kpa Wulomo" residence and also at the "Nmaa-Nmo naa", accompanied by the "Amlakui" who are the Royal sacred administration-Board of the La-Asafo. The crops are spiritually planted into the ground in the names of the above mentioned workers and the whole La-Asafo, couple with the Ga-Adangbes where ever they will be. After this section is completed, the 2-weeks fasting begins. Included the fasting will be, no sexual activities.

*The (Dzuramo) Cleansing of the above "Divinities" are spiritually associated strictly with "Yam-Food" only to be used during their cleansing ceremony. They are also known as Divinities that do not eat Corn-food. One of their duties towards the Homowo-Festival is to provide Yams to the process and to the "La-Kpa". There will be events of cooking, typically "Otor" ( a cooked mashed yam, mainly "Puna-Yam" mixed with palm oil and seasoned spices, in addition with boiled eggs. There will be singing and cultural ceremonial activities on these days, couple with "NKpai". This and more on those days you will hear the saying ; (Afrimi eye-yele, Nii-Sei eye-yele, Nii-Manklalo eye-yele and Wiabo eye-yele.) 

The Friday event mainly occur at the La-Asafo sovereign land geographical Rural-Villages which has now turned into towns. This ceremonial section is known as "KOSEE-BII" (Dzuramo) cleansing. The "Koo-see-Bii" in the Rural areas will cook a Yam feast in every house in atonement with the "La-Kpa" Homowo Festival. They will then arrive at the main core of the "La-Asafo" territory with abandon variety of fruits and Vegetables, while the women are dressed in a competitive textile designed and overall dress style. There will be a variety of the "Kpa" songs being sang by each arrival group from the 'kosee-Bii". This is the "Koo-see-Bii" ceremonial method of coming to the La-Asafo main core for the Homowo-Festival.

* (The Ga-Dangme word "Dzuramo" = (Cleansing) is in connotation with the Tswi word "Edzura" also means Cleansing. Edzura is a yearly festival of the Akropongs in late September or early October, main dish is prepared with Yam coupled with other finger licking dishes. The festival is commonly described as "Yam-Festival ).

A special doctrine component event to the Homowo Festival, through their "Bonsu" Divinity's sacred ceremony with the spirit of the ocean. The sacred symbol of the "Divinity Bonsu" is the "Sperm-Whale". The "Abese-Fante" clan, a clan member of the "Abese" clan of the La-Asafo will lunch a deep sea voyage for approximately two to three days in search for a large tropical fish of a particular "Muton-Snapper" .

"Fotoli" will be cooked at the Divinity Bonsu location as part of the Divinity Bonsu "Dzuramo" (cleansing) and the attendees and the Bonsu Divinity will be served as an atonement to the Homowo Festival and the spirit of the Ocean.  "NKpai" will be perform before and after the deep sea voyage at the beach location of the "Bonsu Divinity" and nKpai will also be perform into the Sea as well as a small amount of "Fotoli" food will be throne into the sea, the nKpai is perform by the La-Asafo "Wuolei-Atse" who is also "Wulomo" to the "Wuolei-Atse" throne and the Abese-Fante Clan. In many Homowo Festival occasions, whales will appear jumping in the ocean as a confirmation to their cause.

On the following day and not later than the third days at the beach, near and in the area of the "Bonsu Divinity", many people will show up to welcome and to witness the fishermen deep sea fishing voyage return with those special deep sea fishes known in the Ga-Adangbe language as "Tshile" ( Muton-Snapper ). They never failed this mission and their duties to the Homowo Festival always honored.

As sacred as the ocean, a young innocent virgin girl carried the fish on her head with the public liturgy method singing and dancing the "Kpa" song along, and the fish was presented to the "Sacred Testimonial Divinity" the "La-Kpa" through the La-Kpa Wulomo, the young virgin girl returned to her home untouched as a virgin.  "NKpai" was performed by the "La-Kpa Wulomo" coupled with a short refreshments which conclude the "Nsho-Bulemo" section, as part of the Homowo Festival process component.

The "Divinity-Bonsu" spiritually represents and symbolize for the Ocean Divinity "Nai-ye". To the La-Asafo and their Homowo Festival , this section of the opening of the ocean's-waters is to be perform through the spirit of the sperm-whale, which is the divinity "Bonsu". So they spiritually communicate to the spirit of the oceans/waters the "Nai-ye" through the sperm-whale Divinity "Bonsu" ( Bo-Nsu) .  The divinity "Nai-ye" is sensitive among the Ga-Dangmes, so you will find the Divinity "Nai-ye" ( Redeemers ) Wulomei among many Ga-Dangme sub-nations, such as the La-Asafo, Nungua-Asafo, Tema-Asafo and Ga-Mashie-Asafo, etc. an ancestral legacy within their spiritual-culture that they couldn't leave without .  The divinity "Nai-ye" roots is the now known as the Nile-Rivers, which run from the Nubian's lake "Nyanza's" many arms, through the then Nubia's Nubian plains, the now North-East Africa and territories into the Mediterranean sea .

The purpose of this section of the ceremony is to sanctify the whole La-Asafo, their children, the old , the young, the pregnant, the sick and the lost to flourish with long live and prosperity, and with the holy water in the bowl to wash away off their sins and to restore goodness. The water in the bowl will then be throne away.

After the sanctification section of the "Alomi-dzormo", the "La-Asafo Chief" and the "La-Kpa Wulomor" will dance the "Kpa" dance to embrace as a symbol of unity bonding oath. Shortly after the dance, a special none alcoholic drink known as "Nmer-daa" made from corn will be served as a refreshment.

"Kpokpoi" (Kpekple); A three days fermented fresh white corn-kernel, stone grounded (granulated) into a mill form, then slightly sun dried after, steam cooked, then mixed with fresh high quality fresh palm-oil and later mixed with very-small amount of blended cooked okro slightly salted. This will be mixed thoroughly and sifted with a sieve for a smooth texture. Palm-soup is what is served with the "Kpokpoi".

After the Kpa-Solemo section, the "La-Kpa Wulomo" will now dance the Kpa dance with his wife "Afriyie" three times, and here he will hug his wife as the symbolism of "La-Kpa" and "Afieyie" wedding vows, this is the section of "La-Kpa Ekpee Yoo", the "Shakamo" ( the passion hug of spiritual wedding ).

After the wedding vows section, the La-Asafo public now has the openness to sing publicly their "Kpa-Nkpa Kplekemo" section songs & the lyrics that they composed a night before, the songs were all "Kpa" songs. At this time the "Kpa" dancing never stop at the La-Kpa premises, it's an environment of "Dancing with the Ancestors". Within these moments before the day end, the Oracle "La-Kpa Wulomo" will spiritually deliver a message of Judgment from the "Divinity La-Kpa"; wrongfulness doings within the communities and will advices them on corrections and reconciliations to acquire a peaceful and fruitful New-Year.

THE SUGGESTION OF THE STATEMENT SO-CALLED : "HOOTING AT HUNGER".

During the earliest Gold Coast settlement of the Ga-Dangmes (Ga-people, Ewe-people and Dangme-people), the regional environment then was tensed with mistrust neighbors of Slave trade activities, the Colonial regime, the missionaries arrival period, the mercenaries activities and the indo-Gold Coast conflicts among the settlement. Despite these tensed environment, the La-Asafo with their La-Kpa will somehow manage to celebrate their Ancient Homowo Yearly Atonement festival during which all the sub-nations of the Ga-Dangme will attend and  the Tswi speaking sub-nation Akwamus and some of the Fante speaking sub-nations will also attend.

The La-Kpa and its Homowo festival activities was well spiritually and culturally deeply rooted that, the missionaries and the colonial regime funded some of their members to investigate the spiritual aspect of the Ga-Dangmes "La-Kpa". Somehow the investigation results were not successful, due to the following reasons: (1) The Europeans do not fully understand the authentic language of the Ga-Dangme to enable them produce proper translation. The European natural languages and phonetics are less, compare to the natural endless Nubian languages and their phonetic meaning. This became a disadvantage for the Colonial regime and the missionaries not being able to produce a correct translation.

(2) The colonial regimes and the missionaries employed a converted Ga-Dangme Christian person or persons to produce a report about the Ga-Dangmes and their spiritual activities, in which this method was also not successful, not only that the Christian have already negatively prejudged the person or persons he or she will be getting the information from (The Divinities themselves whom they have no communication with ), but also do not know the linguistic meanings within the spiritual and the cultural communications of the Divinities. Had they produce a report, it will be of assumptions and negative connotations intentionally or unintentionally. 

One of  the Ga-Dangmes Liturgy Songs of spiritual commandments and honoring, couple with thanksgiving to their Ancestors and their Divinities is conducted through their "Divinity Awo" by means of ( Oshe-Boo), also known as "Aabo-Oshe". This Liturgy Song "Aabo-Oshe" occurs during many spiritual activities like; Enthrone of a King, a Queen, an Oracle or a historical phenomenal event etc., of the Ga-Dangmes, but most of all you will hear this liturgy Aabo-Ohse during the Ancestral Ancient "Nile Rivers Yearly Harvesting of a New-Year Atonement Festival" of the "HOMOWO" festival, which may have confused some Ga-Dangmes who were non-spiritually-cultured and in association with the colonial regimes and the missionaries to label the "Oshe-Boo" liturgy wrongfully as "Hooting at Hunger".

The words "Hooting at Hunger" which had never been associated with the Homowo festival since dawn, was suggested and introduced by and during the colonial regimes and the earlier missionaries period, this notion was to belittle the whole six to seven- months of the Homowo festival doctrine process. This active legacy of ancient Doctrines were being practice before the Gold Coast settlement and before the arrivals of the Europeans. Ironically, it is more of a liturgy commandment-praising for abundance of  Food and Generations and NOT  Hooting at hunger. One of many liturgies of the Ga-Dangmes "Oshe-Boo" is as follows:

The Spiritual representative words within the above liturgy named; "Aa-gba-ei", "Bleku-tsoo" and "Manye-aa-amanye-a" are of the Ga-Dangme language and the "Nsu-nsu", Enam-enam" and "Adeban" are of Tswi language, while the word "Kpotoo" is of Ga-language.

      

Translation & Explanation of the above liturgy "Oshe-Boo"

Aaa-wooooooo, Aaa-wooooooo, Aaa-wooooooo ! ; ( Spiritually Calling "The Elderly Mother Earth", the Divinity "Awo" and in liturgy phonetic as; Aaa-wooooooo! which is repeated three times).

Aa-gba-ei ; ( May we Passionately re-produce ) for [ Generation Flourishing].

Bleku-tsoo, "A-Bleku-ma" ; ( May we be Abundance of Abundance ) [Abundance in people, to populate].

Nsu-nsu ; ( May we have water / rain ) [Never be without water].

Enam-enam ; ( May we have meat / fish ) [Never be without meat / fish].

Manye-aa-manye-a ; ( May Good Omen Embrace us ) [May we be blessed with Goodness unconditionally].

Adeban-kpotooo ; ( May we have abundance of  food ) [Never to be hungry or out of food].

Aaawo,  Aaa-wooooooo,  Aaa-wooooooo, Aaa-wooooooo!  

The English language cannot fully translate the Authentic Linguistic meanings of the Nubian tongues. The above Liturgy is an expression of spiritual commandments through their Ancestor "Divinity-Awo" ; The Elderly Mother Earth.  This is not Hooting at Hunger liturgy.                    

In the cause of my research and still, I found out that when a Ga-Dangme Divinity is in trance, the language spoken by that Divinity is different from that of the Divinity host language. The Divinity may either speak the languages of ; Ga, Dangme, Ewe, Tswi, Fante, Gondza, Yoruba, Mende and even English language etc. ( The English Divinity is known as "Blofo-Woyoo", she is not a Caucasian or white, not groomed by or from Europe). She is a typical Ga-Dangme born Black woman.

All the Divinity Hosts of the Ga-Dangme speaking, within or of the Ga-Adangbe Region in association with the HOMOWO-Festival attended a spiritual institute with the consent of their families for few years, ( A special and private spiritual institute being conducted by Special Spiritual Divinity Professors ) when graduated they are honored as a Divinity. The host has now become mutually in control with an Ancient Divinity of thousand and thousands of years B.C.

In essence, the Ga-Dangme Homowo festival is a legacy of the Ancient "Nile Rivers Yearly Harvesting of a New-Year Atonement Festival" which consist of many Ancient Divinities as components to the Homowo festival doctrines. After the graduation the new host will be address with that Divinity's full name for the rest of his or her life. They are spiritually programmed not to practice wrongfulness, because the Divinities that they are hosting are of Divinity judges, when they are evoked or provoked, the result will be dealing with a thousands of years B.C. Divinity.

The present hosts of an Ancient Divinities are not the first hosts and will not be the last hosts of their Divinities. However, all the Divinities and their hosts are human being with special normal life, who expected to be respected for what they are, just like me and you.  

The La-Asafo brother clan Gbese was part of the three sub-nations; Gbese, La  and Nunguah who first arrived at the West-Africa shores territory latter named as the Gold Coast. There were no European present there then. Gbese arrived with his five original sub-quarters of ; (1) Mantse Blohun, (2) Onomioko, (3) Atukpai, (4) Faasee/Viehelm and (5) Nudsosee . They came along with many of their divinities, the major divinities were ; "Nai-ye", "Sakumo", Korle" and "Okudsan", etc. All these ancient divinities are inter-twine with all of the Ga-Dangme divinities, but most of all, due to Gbese relationship with the La-Asafo's La-Kpa tells us why earlier, there were no boundaries between the Ga-speaking and Dangme-speaking sub-nations.

When  the La-Asafo with their La-Kpa will celebrate their Ancient Homowo Yearly Atonement festival, all the sub-nations of the Ga-Dangmes will attend, the Tswi speaking sub-nation Akwamus and some of the Fante speaking sub-nations will also attend. This united settlements was before the colonial Europeans, the missionaries, and any other Ga or Tswi speaking clan or sub-nation that may have join the Gbese settlement latter.   

Historically, Gbese of the now Ga-Mashie is known as one of the brother clans of the "La-Asafo" while the Divinity "Nai-ye" of Gbese is a Divinity sibling of the La-Asafo Divinity "La-Kpa", the Divinity "Nai-ye" among many sibling Divinities have been one of the ancient component within the Sacred Doctrine toward the preparations of the "Nile Rivers Yearly Harvesting and a New-Year Atonement Festival" prior to their present Ga-Adangbe region now known as the so-called "Greater Accra Region".

Gbese-clan, though now isolated is also among the two to three indoctrinated clans of La-Asafo to provide a wife (Afi-eyie) the [Asasi-Afi-a] to the "La-Kpa" Divinity, in the case of  newly "Afi-eyie" is to be enthrone. This Doctrine principle is prior to the Ga speakers Gold-Coast settlements. Among those specific La-Asafo clans where "Afi-eyie" the (Asasi-Afi-a) is selected from are the: Lershie-clan, Abafum-clan and ( .?.) in which the chosen has always come from with many young and beautiful women as the Queen "Asasi-Afi-a" to be the "Afi-eyie".

"Afi-eyie"; An Ancient Nubian Divinity title name of the Ancestral Queen "Asasi-Afi-a", a royal divinity name which was corrupted to the name "Isis" by non-Nubian descendant tongues.

Gbese is not the only geographically isolated brotherly clan of the "La-Kpa", the Akwapims "La-Ter" (La-Tetteh) is a younger brother to the La-Asafo "Tettey La-Kpa", while the  "La-Kpleku" is also a brother clan to the "La-Kpa", both in good relationship. There are other Divinity siblings of the "La-Kpa" who belong to the Ancient Ancestral Divinity Doctrine of  "La" (Ra) who are the Divinities; "La-Kpa", "La-Ter", "La-Shiele", "La-Shioko", "La-Fa", "La-Kple-Ku" and "La-Ni-o-Gbe", etc. The Spiritual Motion-Mechanism of these Divinities and their Sacred Doctrines before and during the Gold-Coast regime was to re-establish their once "La" (Ra) Ancient Monotheism Doctrine Dynasties who were in different geographical settlements after hundreds of years in dispersion and transitions, coupled with war and relocations.

Just when they thought they were at peace in the Gold-Coast territories of the now West-Africa, they instead experienced an internal hemorrhage within their sub-nations relationship with one of their Ga speaking sub-nation clan. Folks Oral history up to today tells us that the motive of the hemorrhage of this Ga clan member was to capture the Divinity "La-Kpa" to have in their possession to possibly control the Gold-Coast settlements though they have no knowledge of how to conduct the Sacred Doctrines of the "La-Kpa".  

Due to the war experiences during their transition from the then Nubian Plains (The Middle-East and the North-East Africa) the protectors of the "La-Kpa" who were the "Lershie" created a strategy of an illusion to the enemy. This tyrant enemy will confront the Lershie clan assuming the Divinity "La-Kpa" maybe in their possession, while the Divinity "La-Kpa" will be with the La-Kpa-Koo (Teshie). This strategy was also performed in favor of the "Divinity La-Kpa" by some of their "La" Divinity members such as "La-Shiele", "La-Shioko", "La-Fa", "La-Kpleku" and "La-Ni-o-Gbe" etc.  Despite this simultaneous terrorist tyrannical act imposed upon the "La-Kpa", which was never succeeded, the La-Asafo and other sun-nation of the Ga-Adangbe up till now are not under any paramount control or in any agreement unconditionally. 

The latter enemies to the "La-Kpa" were the colonial regimes slave traders, missionaries, mercenaries, gold hunters and inner land mongers. The colonial regime proposed and demarcated a road to run through the premises of the "La-Kpa" but was furiously rejected, which was close to starting a war, the road was stopped at the "La-Kpa" premises wall which the colonial regime then diverted it so to run through one of their Divinity "Dzobu", which was also diverted around the "Divity-Dzobu". This diversion is what left the Divinities "Dzobu" and "Okwei-Nyomotsaa's  Tsaa-Ade" sitting in the middle of the road up to today. The last but list attack in the whole West-Africa and the Gold-Coast territories was the demoralization strategy, whereby their believe and names were to be changed to christian and muslem names and believes.

June 3rd. 1902 ; The Western geographical sovereign land of the La-Asafo was sabotaged by the then European representatives of the Gold-Coast colonial government. Led in their created court and conducted by their European chief justice (Sgd) W. Brandford Griffith, a variety of conspiracies was staged against the La-Asafo by the then colonial government; conflicts was created among the Ga-Adangbes by the colonial government , land leased document to the advantage of the self imposed Colonial government of the Gold-Coast was drafted, to the benefit of the built Dungeon for the enslaved Africans controlled by the Europeans on that part of the La-Asafo land (the then so-called Christiansburg), while influences of foreign believes was imposed upon the region, include the whole Gold-Coast territories. 

A Dungeon for enslaved Africans coupled with offices was built in 1659 by the Danish on the land of the La-Asafo, which was later named "Christiansburg". The La-Asafo families within the then so-called "Christiansburg" were re-colonized and later named that portion of the Land of the La-Asafo as "Osu". Up till now, the La-Asafo territory now called "Osu" consists of Divinities of the "La-Kpa" who is in affiliation with the Ga-Dangmes divinities and now being hosted by the La-Asafo.

The relationship between the La-Asafo and the "Osu" has become of a mirror image relationship, counter parts in spiritual attributes of ancient divinities with healed scar in their hearts.            

The Divinity "La" (Ra) of the 'La-Kpa" with its Ancient Sacred Doctrine B.C. historically went through many obstacles from its spiritually inherited dwellers out of naked prejudgment. Today most of the generation of the La-Asafo of the "La-Kpa" then from the west of the now "Ada-songor"  to "Wao", near "Nanrige lake" east of the now Ga-Mashie did not know much about the dispersion transitions of thousands of years through wars which their ancestors went through to enable them be at peace today.
